Ahsan Hamid Durrani is an experienced social development professional and policy specialist with a diverse track record in project management, undertaking Qualitative, Quantitative and Human-Centered Design (HCD) research, policy formulation & analysis, strategic communications, capacity building, and M&E. During his more than 10 years of experience, Ahsan has worked on and managed projects for various development sector organizations in the areas of youth development, inclusive education, climate change, public health, good governance, and community resilience. Over the years, Ahsan has also acquired significant policy experience by working directly with governments (both federal and provincial) in various policy positions. His unique expertise, combining both the development sector and policy advice, positions him as an important player in the social development sector of Pakistan. Ahsan has also previously worked with United Nations Development Programme as a Policy & Institutional Support Consultant. As an trainer with an international profile, he has delivered training sessions and policy masterclasses in more than 20 countries around the world. Leading national and international think tanks frequently consult him for policy discussions and dialogues.
