Designed and undertook a 360-degree community awareness and support initiative regarding mental health awareness campaign which was further dove-tailed by a Helpline “KHAYAL”. The intervention included grassroots level intervention (IEC material placement & distribution at public interaction places & consultations), Conventional Media (TV & Radio Programs in National and Regional Languages, Articles, and Newspaper coverage), and Social Media engagement (Facebook/Instagram/Twitter posts & trends, Blogs/Vlogs, web-based articles on Mental health).
The campaign was aimed to generate awareness within communities about mental health issues arising due to COVID-19 and to provide them a free helpline service to discuss health issues.
